Geneza Peptide Calculator

Bring clarity to your research calculations. Understand peptide concentration, reconstitution volumes, and syringe unit conversions in one place.

Peptide calculator

Concentration. Volume. Clarity.

Peptide concentration calculator

Enter the amount of peptide in the vial and the volume of diluent you add to see the resulting concentration.

Quantity unit

Total peptide in the vial.

Volume unit

Volume of diluent added to the vial.

Concentration

Enter a quantity and a volume to see the concentration.

How It Works

Three steps. A clearer calculation.

01

Enter your vial amount

Start with the total amount of peptide in your vial, expressed in milligrams (mg).

02

Add your diluent volume

Enter the volume of diluent in milliliters (mL) to determine the solution concentration.

03

Review the conversion

Use the calculator to translate a research amount into a volume and, where supported, syringe units.

Understanding concentration

Concentration describes the amount of peptide in each milliliter of solution. It depends on the vial amount and the total solution volume used in your calculation.

Concentration (mg/mL) = peptide amount (mg) ÷ solution volume (mL)

Example: 5 mg in a total solution volume of 2 mL gives a concentration of 2.5 mg/mL. This is an arithmetic example, not a dosing recommendation.

Making sense of units

Milligrams and micrograms measure mass; milliliters measure volume. Syringe units are scale markings, not a peptide amount, and depend on the syringe type.

1 mg = 1,000 mcg
1 mL = 100 units on a U-100 syringe
Volume (mL) = amount (mg) ÷ concentration (mg/mL)

Frequently asked questions

The calculator is intended to help with concentration and volume conversions for research calculations. Its available inputs and results are provided by the separately installed Geneza Peptide calculator plugin.

Milligrams (mg) and micrograms (mcg) measure mass: 1 mg equals 1,000 mcg. Milliliters (mL) measure liquid volume. Converting between mass and volume requires the solution concentration.

No. Syringe units describe volume markings on a specific syringe scale. On a U-100 syringe, 100 units represent 1 mL. Other syringe scales differ. The peptide mass in that volume depends on concentration.

Adding diluent changes the concentration, not the total peptide mass in the vial. A larger total solution volume results in a lower concentration, assuming the peptide is fully dissolved and no material is lost.
